DEMON TOADS RAIN DOWN IN GOTHAM
Meteorlogists have speculated that the recent sporadic and freak rainstorm of demon toads is linked to the literal Hell on Earth in New York City. Under normal circumstances, there are rare meteorological events in which flightless animals fall from the sky. Usually linked to tornadic events, no one is rejecting the idea that uncharacteristic changes to the troposphere due to the still undefined crisis in New York City may have caused the rain of toads.
Authorities in the Animal Control Department have warned citizens from handling or touching the toads. Their skin is sulphuric, causing third-degree burns on contact. They also have sharp teeth, and a chance of spontaneous detonation — like a hopping grenade from Hell.
