Fade In…

The foothills of Xavier's Estate. Rolling, grassy things with sporadic shrub and trees that cluster in groups then space out, freckling the landscape just outside the X-Men's and school's proper and main areas. A overwarm cloudcast nearing ninety degrees out and Scott Summers is out there, beyond the crest of one 'hill. A shovel tossed aside and the man stumbles a few feet and lies back on the grassy side to stare up at the skies. He asked for help out here earlier through the 'app' they use for conversation but its been some time, no one has showed and hard labor is warranted. Never hurt a soul, right?

The X-Man's attire has come down to just his jeans and a sweat laden tanktop, his boots caked in dirt and muck.

*

It's only been a few weeks since Laura was returned from a particularly unpleasant adventure and for most of that time she's been distant, stand-offish and has mostly kept to her own company. In a way it's like she never even left.

X-23 heads out from a patch of woodland within the grounds. Her own attire is simple black pants and matching t-shirt, although strangely her outfit is already covered in mud. As are the shovel resting on her shoulder and the sealed plastic container tucked under the other arm.

*

It was hot outside, and Lorna was wearing left wearing a pair of shorts and a tank-top. The delay? Evident by the dampness of the magnokinetic's green curls that hung around her shoulders in a tangle. She came along the grassy rolling hills, humming under her breath and with a cooler slung along side by a metal grip wrapped around the handle. She was late arriving, sure, but at least she was bringing cold drinks?

The greentte came to a halt, glancing over the exhausted Scott on the ground. "Hey, sorry I'm late? I was getting cleaned up from the Danger Room." She set the cooler down with a wave of her hand. "I bring soda."

*

Rogue is on grounds today, having come to help move some furniture… she was often texted by people for that very reason, especially if Colossus was off MiA for whatever it is that Colossi do. So she'd come to help pull some dorm beds out of storage and toss out the ones that had been ruined in some remodeling for the new school year.

So, as it is, Rogue is on one of the back patio areas of the school now and she's got a pack of cigarettes in front of her that she's trying to open with her gloved hands. She's muttering about it as well. "I can lift an entire train car up and throw it across a field. But I can't get a fricken pack'a cigarettes open cause… gloves, and plastic wrap…" She glances up and takes not eof Laura. Rogue was apart of that mission that brought X-23 back, but she hadn't seen the girl since. She eyes her for a moment before she notes Lorna and Scott nearby. SO she turns and starts down the stairs toward the grass to walk out to where they are.

*

Scott doesn't shift from where he is at even though hes aware of the footfalls of the approaching Lorna, X-23 on the other hand further out yet, not speaking and quiet as death itself, goes unseen. Namely because his eyes are closed and the glasses he normally wears are held in his fist.

"Points for using the Danger Room. I forgive you." He near-pants, his eyes remaining closed he pushes himself to sit with knees drawn up, forearms over them.
"Who is with you?" He asks not aware of Rogue yet either. Scott's head turning with his lids still sealed, the soda offering not taken up immediately.

"It's dormant I think. I knew it was out here still." It?

A closer look at where Summers is digging is the top portion of a stone statue, ancient and depicting what could be a portion of a roughly hewn and sculpted crocodile or dragon.

*

While Laura isn't exactly trying to sneak around the most direct route back to the mansion does take her right within polite conversation range of Scott's amateur archeology. There's a barely perceptable moment where she pauses, considers her alternatives, then continues towards the group. A detour would attract undue attention after all.

Aside from the shovel and her claws there are a few significant metal objects inside the plastic container that would likely feel familiar to those able to sense them. At least one, but perhaps two handguns and ammunition seem to be contained within. Almost certainly against one or more mansion rules, but then strictly following rules isn't something X-23 is known for…

As she draws closer Laura nods in greeting to Rogue and Lorna. While Scott gets a mildly curious glance, no point nodding to someone who can't see after all!

*

A grin flashed at Scott's words as Lorna shifted to cross her arms, the green haired mutant folding her arms over her chest as she considered whatever it was that Scott had been digging up. "Oh yay, I can rest easy." She drawled, only glancing back toward Rogue to offer a smile and wave toward the southern belle.

"Rogue, guess she stopped in despite not living around here anymore." She drawled, glancing back to the cooler and moving to get herself something cold to drink at least. The can popping open with a hiss and fizzle. She didn't even glance up as Laura approached.

"Laura too. Hey, there's soda if you want."

*

Rogue is still fussing with the cigarette pack as she approaches them, though by now she's pulled her glove off of her hand and is using her fingernails to unwrap it without trying to tear the whole thing apart.. its not easy balancing the kind of strength she has.

"Just wait till I reach my ultimate goal'a buyin' one'a them giant RV's like the hiphop celebs got." She says once she reaches them, having heard the tail end of Lorna. "Then I'm gonna just travel the whole country town to town, solvin' all the woes of each town, like some kinda tv show from the eighties." She plops herself down onto the grass a foot or so from Scott and glances over at him, a cigarette between her red lips… she starts to scoot further away though without using her hands or her feet (her flight power instead) because she figures Scott'll not like the smoke, then she lights the cigarette with a cheap plastic lighter from the service station down the road from here.

"I was movin' furniture into the remodeled boys dorms. Thats why I' here." She says after exhaling a plume of smoke.

*

"Maybe." Scott says just to crush Lorna's hopes, maybe some. The glasses come back on after wiping his brows and bridge of nose to stand. A look past her at Rogue who gets a moment of quiet regard before hes peeling his shirt off to sweep along the top of the statue, "N'Garai Cairn, we three here at one point. Magik sealed them before the Demon Bear thing went down but… I don't know if shes done so again. I don't personally know how to tell but digging it up made sense… " Explaining himself suddenly makes him feel parched, the soda she offered earlier he makes a motion towards, a polite 'gimme'.
It's then he catches Laura's presence, offering her a light halfbaked smile.

The smoking for once doesn't get a reaction out of Scott, "Here now one of you can tag in and get the rest uncovered. At least have it nice and pretty for when Illy is around to make sure her wards held."

*

"N'Garai?" Laura wonders, tilting her head and actually stopping for a moment. "Presumably a supernatural monster of some sort?" She glances down into the hole. "It smells like a regular rock in a hole, if that helps." A shrug. "As for the soda I shall pass. Too many chemical additives. But thank you for the offer nonetheless." She takes another moment to glance between Rogue and Lorna, then adds. "I have already forfilled my digging quota for the day."

*

A snort of laughter followed Scott's 'maybe', and an eyeroll. But Lorna grabbed a second can of soda and tossed it toward the man at his request. She sipped at her own, and a few of the shovels that were discarded happily got up and started to dig around the area that Scott had gestured. "Right, okay.. so.. why aren't we just asking Illyana instead of doing all kinds of extra work? I mean.. wouldn't that be easier?" She asked with a quirk of her brow. Dirt flying as the shovels moved under her direction. Her green eyed gaze swung toward Rogue as the woman came up closer and explained her goal. A snicker, and a nod followed.

"I look forward to seeing your world tour bus then, Rogue."

*

Rogue grins at what she hears Laura say. "Been doin' a lotta diggin' today?" She asks her. "Just make sure ya got the bodies at least six feet under. I don't want some mangey dog diggin' up your victims around here. That won't look good on Parent Teacher Conference day." Rogue looks then over to Scott as he's shirtlessly rubbing a statue… So naturally she does a little wolf-whistle and then leans back on one gloved hand in the grss. "Me next, Captain Kirk." She chides the X-Men leader for just popping his shirt off like that.

Another pull on her cigarette is head before she peals her eyes off of that and puts them onto Lorna, she grins at her. "You're gonna be one'a the first invited guests to Rogue's Travelin' Party Bus, Green Peace."

*

"Yes, nasty enough alone they're a threat but they don't tend to show just alone. It's somthing to do with this location, old grounds that we keep manifesting a couple. I don't know the specifics, its a… uh, magic thing." Scott makes a face on emphasis of 'magic' then realizes it is Laura who is talking, rather clearly, "Hey, welcome back again, it has been some time. You… " The digging of her own inspires a brow-raise but he doesn't question, not right now. He may not want the answer.

"Thatsa one." He counts at Lorna, though some humor may be in there, always hard to tell. The soda snatched out ot the air and pop-hissed open to be chugged at, not that its the desired drink, but it'll do.
"This is hardly extra work. I'll ask Illyana when shes available, this is mostly a precaution. Enough odd shit to deal with right now. This is like… old leaks that need occasional patchwork." A further step back and he lets the magnetokinetic shovels go to town…

"Enough, no bodies… " The wolfwhistle gets a jolt of one muscle under his jaw, if he was 'Slim' of so many years ago he might blush. But hes no longer capable.

"Party busing and living in a music hall… who are you again?"
"Sounds like its time we go to a ball game again, maybe figure out whats busting loose in there. Meteors are playing the Hawks this weekend."

*

"I wouldn't dispose of a body that way," Laura assures Rogue solemnly, letting go of the shovel she was carrying so Lorna can add it to her magnetic work gang. "It's much easier to chop it into pieces and feed them to livestock. Pigs ideally. Alternatively a well prepared chemical bath ensures nothing can be identified." A shrug. "I've been around a few weeks. My.. personal business took longer than expected. But for now the issue is resolved."

*

A shrug and Lorna plopped down onto the grass beside the others, still sipping her soda as she gestured toward Laura's shovel, which bounced over to the others doing the hard work like some scene out of a Disney film. Green eyes slid back toward Scott, an eyebrow hooking upwards. "It is extra work, because otherwise, I'd be inside. Or out shopping." She shot back, before her focus returned to Laura and Rogue in turn. She paused, considering Laura briefly.

"I heard burying bodies as rose beds works well. Raised mound and what not." She shrugged lightly, finger snapping toward Rogue. "Sweet, I'd love to join your party bus. We can take it for a flight whenever you actually get it." If there was a forced lightness to her tone of voice, well had become standard practice at this point.

*

Rogue is just grinning at Laura's reply to her, aaaand slowly shaking her head to it as well. She then looks right at Scott and motions to the Stabby One with her cigarette-holding-hand. "Ya see? Conversations about feeding cut up bodies to pigs… thats what I moved away from." She's just teasing of course and she grins over at Laura to prove it. "Ya know, Hotness. I'm glad we helped get ya off that ship, and I know how ya like your privacy so I ain't bothered t'ask what the hell was goin' on aboard that freighter. But yeah… I'm just glad you're all right." She puts the cigarette back between her lips then and it bobs up and down between them as she keeps talking around it. "Better off than that crew was." Though the words are a bit muffled.

She glances over at Lorna then and after taking another puff just grins at her when the cigarette is removed once more. "Flyin' RV? That just means there's gonna be tons'a spaceballs jokes. But I'm all right with that."

*

Scott pulls the soda away from his lips, his eyes unfocused then zeroing in on each of them in turn, Laura's speaking very clearly, not so clipped. Lorna is talking about shopping and Rogue… they're all just different.
"None the less, it is good to have you back and if you're here to stick, I'll make sure you're in the loop and the roster is open for you… " He says, pushing his own thoughts aside to take in the trio present, "Party bus sounds tacky and very uh… juvenile."

"I guess entertaining at least." That sense of humor, just so heavy to carry around sometimes. Scott's back goes to them as he debates fighting a shovel thats animated like Mickey Mouse style for control, instead just watching, listening to the talk of body disposal and trying his best to remain casual friendly.

*

Bobby Drake arrives from Xavier's Institute.

*

Ever expressive Laura simply blinks a few times. "Bones tend to come to the surface in soil over time, like rocks do. Roses are prickly enough to keep people from inspecting them too closely but it is still far from guaranteed." She tilts her head at Rogue. "Flying RV? Spaceballs? Are those expressions a form of Southern innuendo I am unfamiliar with?" Her attention finally turns to Scott, she blinks a few more times. "I do not currently have long term plans. Although I need to renew my supplies of false identities and documentation I don't believe it would impact my operational effectiveness."

*

Lorna shrugged, and sighed as she continued to sip at her soda. "Would you prefer me sitting in my room a depressed mess? Or shall we talk about what we're gonna do when Registration finally passes?" She arched a brow, her arms folding over her knees as she sat on the grassy knoll beside the other X-ers. She sipped at her soda, a cooler filled with more sitting out beside them. While shovels continued their merry dance at digging up a statue.

Whatever tension remained fled as Laura asked for clarification. A snort, and she coughed, trying and failing to hide it. "Rogue, I'll let you explain that. All yours."

*

Rogue just lays back on the grass with her two-toned hair pooling around beneath her head and her cigarette going back between her lips, while her legs cross at the ankles and her hands lay against her stomach, her flannel shirt is unbuttoned and a tanktop is worn beneath it, jeans and simple shoes, not a very fancy outfit… but she came over here to the Mansion from her place in Salem Center to move furniture after all.

"Spaceballs is a movie." Rogue says to Laura. "Its like Star Wars, but the jokes are funnier and the… nah the cast is actually much uglier." She reaches up and plucks the cigarette back out a gyser of white smoke shoots up out from between her lips. "I think they're dead too, which is kinda sad and morbid. But then, we were just talkin' abput pigs eating body parts, so I guess its not as morbid as we've gotten here t'day." Her green eyes blink as she stares up at the clouds. "When 'Registration' happens, we move t'Canada. I hear Alpha Flight is nice this time'a year."

*

Given how many years he lived here, Bobby has no need to explore the Institute now he's back but now he's back, he feels a need to explore the Institute. Or perhaps reunite with it is more accurate. In a tee shirt and shorts, he's casually ice skating along, creating the ice ahead of him which disappears once he's passed over it. Spotting a small gathering, he alters his course toward them. "Hey folks." he greets once he's close enough. "I suggested moving to Canada before it gets that bad."

*

"Mel Brookes is still alive." Scott says still facing the shovels. Looking like some foreman overseeing the work as he stands there, wiping the last beads of sweat off his brow. "I think a handful of them are, the guy with the big helmet from Ghostbusters."
Scott turns enough to look over one shoulder, at the incoming Bobby before he lifts a hand wave.

"Registration passes we do what we always do. We stand strong and keep the dream alive." The bruntte says without falter.

"Consider us, long term, the others would be more than happy to have you here with us, full time, Laura."

"Canada is no better. They authorized the Icebox and Department H. You're just switching flags if we do that… no, we will be okay. We always are."

*

A huff of a breath followed as Lorna glanced toward Rogue, watching as the woman tried to explain Spaceballs, but neglected the flying RV. "Well, I can make most cars fly. I figured I could get a bus to.." She added, a smile blooming on her features as Bobby came up the hill. She waved, and patted the grass beside her. "I've got soda if you want any." Green eyes flitted back toward Scott and Rogue briefly as they went back and forth on Registration.

"Canada doesn't really give a shit, like Scott said." She murmured, reaching up to drag her hands through her hair. "So what.. we register all of the kids here Scott? Go along with whatever they pass?" She murmured, tilting her head to the side as her lips twisted into a half scowl.

*

"Like Star Wars," Laura repeats blankly. "I am aware that is a movie yes. And the flying RV is simply a flying RV? It was not a play on the 'do not disturb the rocking vehicle' line. I see." She shifts the plastic box she's hefting from one arm to the other. "If you wish to relocate to another country then it would be best to pick a smaller nation in which a regime change could be orchestrated quickly and with minimal international outcry."

Her attention flicks to Bobby and, almost subconciously, sniffs the air. She nods in acknowledgement of his arrival then looks back to Scott. "The notion is acceptable to me for now. Although I do not really work well with groups."

*

Rogue rolls her eyes at the revelation that Canada is no better. "Figures." She says. "They're always tryin' t'be just like big brother 'Murica." And then she's glancing over at Laura and grinning big at the Stabby One. "You're a hoot, don't eve'ah change." She simply tells the girl who recently slayed the entire crew of a mutant slaver freighter all on her own.

When Bobby shows up though, Rogue sits up and turns around to look back at him, she's got a big smile on her lips then and she looks up at the familiar face she hadn't seen in some time. "Well heya, Icebox." She says then, rising up to stand to greet him. "You came back and didn't even send me a text or nothin'? I'm offended." She mocks, in the sultry southern way of hers.

*

Bobby's skates disappear and he pads barefooted over to Rogue to give her a hug. "I didn't send anyone a text." he tells her. "Or call. It was still kinda up in the air. Hiya Scott." Looking over at Laura, he says "I'm Bobby. I'm not sure we met?" The last couple months before he took off he wasn't really paying attention to stuff. "Anyway, going somewhere safe has a lot to recommend it. We can defend ourselves if it comes to it. The kids can't."

*

Scott said it much less colorful but he and Lorna are on the same page, rare as that is.

"We have openings in Muir, I have another option, we have a base in Australia, there are options if push comes to shove. We have contingency plans for all of this."

"Besides, I'm sure Genosha would welcome us with open arms." He teases rather darkly for his own tastes but part of him is serious in that. As a last option. "We still do not even know what the RA will demand."
"Choice is our intent, but we'll see…. We won't just be rolling over and taking it."

"Bobby, you're always great with the timing."

"Not far from the tree but you will Laura, give it some time. We're experts at working with those who refuse to sync up." Considering where he stands in a group of them… his look alone can point that out.

*

Laura simply shrugs at Rogue. "Change is inevitable." There's also the small matter of how she wasn't joking, but that's a battle for another day. "I do not see why fake documentation couldn't be used to circumvent the registration process. At least initially. No Government led scheme of that size will be foolproof. Bureaucracy is by it's nature inefficient."

"You are likely correct, I would have recalled you if we had met," X-23 adds in reply to Bobby. "And you are probably under-estimating the children who attend this school. Many would be perfectly able to defend themselves. Although I do not think direct violent action would be good for their long term health and wellbeing."

*

Lorna sipped at her soda, finishing it and crushing the can before she set it down beside a slight shrug following Scott's words. Even as half her focus remained on the shovels that continued to spin and shove dirt into nice neat piles. "I'm sure that fake documents would be useful eventually," She murmured, folding her arms atop her knees, nodding her head toward Laura. "Of course, the kids can defend themselves.. But they're still kids… Mutant Town would likely get hit the hardest first whenever shit hits the fan.."

"Call me paranoid, or whatever…" Marcos certainly told her she was. Her green eyed gaze returning to consider the others around her. "May I volunteer myself Laura for non-group activities? Buddy system rather than a whole gathering of people? Remy had some issues with not taking backup recently.." Her gaze settled on Rogue, and she lofted an eyebrow upwards.

*

Rogue is swift to return the hug to Bobby who'd she'd known since she'd joined the school almost a full decade ago now. She pulls back and smiles at him. "Well, I'm glad you're back, for however long. We're always stronger when we got you around." She looks back then to Scott and Lorna. "I honestly don't plan on goin' anywhere… even though— Wait." She pauses. "We have a 'base' in Austraila?" A quick clearing of her throat then and she tilts her head toward her left shoulder a hair. "I change my mind, we should go there. I'm sure everything will be fine here in the States, they got the Justice League and the Avengers, right? We're practically redundant." She's grinning lightly thenk, knowing full well Scott's going to grumble his way through this.

*

"Yeah, Lorna was filling me in on what's been happening. I wasn't sure I was going to move back in but after hearing how many times the school's bee attacked…" Bobby shrugs. He can't very well /not/ be here when it's in that kind of danger. "Funny, I also said we should think about Australia. Between me and Ororo, we can make a lot of places livable. Water's the hard part and we've got that down."

*

Laura Kinney looks down at the strange stone object that Scott implied was a magical portal to somewhere unpleasant. "Given the school has hostile magical artifacts buried on the grounds I am unsure why you have not already relocated," she points out. "Long term Australia will have the same issues as any other nation. People fear things they don't understand. Mutant powers often make little logical sense."

She raises an eyebrow at Lorna, then adds "While I am grateful for the offer I don't believe such support is required. I do not have any leads I need to follow up on at this point in time."

*

A twitch of her lips followed, "I am so not into going to Australia. Just throwing it out there." She leaned over, sprawling partly to grab herself another soda. Because why not. The pop and hiss of the can opening followed as she sipped at it idly. The green haired woman paused, dragging a hand through her hair as she swallowed back another sigh. A glance spared toward Rogue and Bobby, dry and faintly amused by both of them. The amusement died however as she considered Laura.

"Eh, it's a standing thing. Feel free to invite me along as needed. I don't offer out of any doubt that you can't handle yourself Laura… just an offer." She smiled weakly, and shifted on the grass that was as green as her hair.

"Mostly because I'm itching to get out and do something productive again."

*

Rogue just sighs then and she shakes her head at the others not onboard with the Aussie Edition of their band. She glances toward Bobby and then back at them though. "Mexico then. We could totally never not have work t'do down there rightin' all the wrongs in that place. It'd be a damn hoot, twenty four seven." She then raises her gloved hands and holds them out defensively. "But, I know, I know… we're gonna stay here till they rush this place with giant plastic tanks and slap collars on all'a us deviant a-holes." But she does grin a little. "At least it'll be a good fight, our inevitable demise."

*

Bobby Drake heads over to the sodas to grab one and pop it open. A moment later, the can frosts over and he takes a drink. "C'mon, Lorna. Anywhere I am is going to be a fun place to be. Winter sports year round! But on a more serious note, I have no intention of registering. I've done a lot of thinking the last year and I'm not going to let anyone tell me who I should be or what I should be or that I'm going to be a number in the government's computers for when they want to send the secret police or army after me."

*

"The school is always attacked. It has been happening as far back as I can remember." Scott says, "We protect it, we teach those inside of it to defend themselves because this is likely going to be something many of them will deal with for the rest of their lives, unless… " He cuts his hand through the air, waving off his own sentence. "This things very likely dormant. Just remember where it is at, Illyana can see to it as soon as I can get her attention, until then, I'll stake up a camera."

He frowns a little, the soda can tucked in to his palm, "We are unlikely to move. NO reason for anyone to start worrying yet and if we do, we're still together."

*

Laura Kinney tilts her head at Bobby. "Do you not have a drivers license?" she asks curiously. "Or a social security number for that matter. You are already on Government computers and, given your association with this place, probably several law enforcement watchlists." She shrugs indifferently then forces a brief smile for Lorna. "I understand, although if you do wish to accompany me then you would need to adopt a more discrete hair colour."

*

+MEET: Remy LeBeau has arrived via +meet.

*

Lorna shot Rogue a look, "No, not Mexico. My Spanish sucks." She tapped her fingers against the soda can, the condensation dripping off the bottom. Never mind that she was married to a man that spoke flawless Spanish but… that was entirely her own issue. "But no.. I don't think anyone has intent to do just that Rogue." She grimaced, whatever smile Bobby's joking had drawn into existence died. She heaved a sigh, glancing back to Scott in turn.

Only briefly looking back to the statue as Scott mentioned it and waved the shovels back to their inert status on the grass beside it.

"Great.. lovely.. well, whenever you want things put back hollar?" She shrugged, a rise and fall of her shoulders as she nodded to Laura.

"I'm sure I'm on several watchlists these days."

*

Rogue walks past Scott and pats him on the arm. "I'm sorry I've made things more stressful for ya, I can see it in how you're getting those little bags underneath your sunglasses." She says in a calm and caring voice. "I'm sure, once I get a bit of a breather that I'll move back into a room that is next to a buncha screaming children, who use all the hot water and playing their music really loudly at the buttcrack'a dawn. I'm sure I'll come around and move back t'that. So don't you worry a pretty little muslce off'a that greek godly body'a yours." And with that said, Rogue goes to where Lorna's producing these soda cans. "Where's the beer?"

*

"Neither of those label me as a mutant." Bobby points out. "And if the government knows the identity of everyone here, we are so screwed." He can't help but glance over at Scott to judge just how accurate Rogue's description is but then glances back over at her. Wait, what? "There's beer?"

*

"More than several I imagine." Scott tosses at Lorna and her not so discreet hair. Some measure of amusement found in that only to have it bleed away at the touch, "Bags? No, I mean, no, thats not what I am getting at here… I was not being pass… " An exhale and he scowls under the rims of his ruby shades, "Just. We can talk about that later sometime." He straightens up and fakes a stretch, as though hes about to announce himself tired, Bobby has seen this before. Scott is self aware of his own 'stick in the mud' status, this generally prompts an exit from him so others can have fun.
"Well… "

*

"I do not understand why anyone would want to drink soda. Let alone beer, but perhaps that is something only mutants with enhanced senses would understand," Laura admits, sniffing the air. "I believe Logan still has some in his cabin. If you are desperate. However I am not responsible for any consequences should you take them without permission."

*

Lorna shook her head, rising to her feet and glancing side long at Scott. The hole was dug. Mission accomplished. "This is a school Rogue," She mimicked Scott's disapproval, flashing the woman a grin. The given reason why she hadn't brought beer out in the cooler by and large obvious given the app summons having been from one Scott Summers. She glanced at Bobby, and shook her head.

"I told you last time Logan hides it, but good luck getting any." She could, if Logan was in a giving mood. Hell, he'd offered to buy her ice cream the other day. Man was going soft in his old age.

Scott's comments in regards to how many watchlists she was on, brought out a snort. "I'm sure I'm a sub-routine under the Magneto-protocols that most governments have these days. It's the hip new thing." She drawled, and shrugged. "I need to head out. You all finish off the soda if you want. Nice seeing you around Laura."
