Eclipse arrives from Lower Manhattan.

Aesh arrives from Lower Manhattan.

The ground around Mutant Town starts to shake without apparent reason, almost like an Earthquake is about to happen. But then instead of a quake, the ground opens in a large enough hole for a person to go through, and out of it comes a flying rock. On top of it a young girl dressed in what could be a superhero costume surge upwards. Once she's airborne, the hole in the ground closes beneath her as if it never even was there. "Surface world!" Terra exclaims with excitment as she takes to the air.

"For the last time, no!" Aesh slams his hands on the table. Papers fly everywhere as the table is broken in two equal pieces. The youth just glares around the meeting room: First came the summon to New York. He quickly packed a few belongings and flew to the city that never sleeps. Aparently some members of his company's board had been doing business with third parties: Its all a large mess and now with the broken table.. "Lets take a break for lunch." He says, quickly standing up and making his way out of the room. His HUD shows him nothing out of the usual: Some people are fighting but its nothing that requires his atention.. That is, until the ground around Mutant Town starts to shake. Aesh quickly takes to the sky, quickly flying towards what he thinks is an earthquake. As the ground opens and the girl comes out of the hole, Aesh would be flying right beside her, his propulssors keeping him up. He would blink at the ground then at the girl for a second, before smilling at her. "Herm.. Wellcome to the surface?" Aesh would say, his tone surprised and curious.

and Here Marcos was just walking about, enjoying the day, seeing the sights….

and then Terra pops right out of the ground, causing him to use his Mutant powers in preparation for attack when the ground quaked, his hand glowing with light…but when he sees Aesh appear, he seems to relax a bit. "Damn…..to kids come out of holes in the ground now?" he says a little under his breath, but his appearance is actualy quite friendly. He just wears casual clothes today: blue jeans, a flannel shirt, and a jean jacket.

Seeing the heroes, he does wave a bit.

Lorna lived in Mutant Town, well now that she was working there and the job came with the apartment..? Yeah she was living there and playing detective. That meant a lot of time spent sitting around and waiting. Snapping a few pictures here or there. Sometimes unlocking a car door or two with her powers to make sure nothing well.. illegal was around. But for today? Today she was out in the sunlight and enjoying the fall breeze. Of course, that meant her boyfriend, Marcos was with her. It had been a nice day. A really, really, nice day and those didn't always happen in her life.

She sensed the oddness of movement below the ground before it happened, her attunement to the metals around her ticked off that something wasn't right— even if she wasn't sure what. There were a lot of pipes, electrical wires, sewers, and other things below the city that vibrated heavily with the shaking 'earthquake' that interrupted her otherwise nice day.

Her hands flew out at her sides just as the ground lifted and burst open to reveal … a young woman? Lorna frowned, her eyes narrowing as her neck craned back to keep the woman in her sight. She wasn't about to take off after her into the air in public without a damn good reason— Mutant Town or not.

*

Terra looks at Aesh as he flies towards her, bracing herself for an encounter, until he proves to be quite a friendly fellow. "Thank you," she says at his greeting, "I am Terra! Who are you? Are you a Champion of Surface World?"

*

Aesh returns Marcos's wave in a friendly way. "I'm as surprised as you, friend. I was expecting an earth quake." He grins at Terra. "I sertainly wasn't expecting a friendly-looking girl." His atention returns to her. "Me, a champion? No, not at all.. My name is Aesh, I'm a Heroe. That means I use my abilities to help other people. For example: If the quaking had been an earthquake, I would have tried to help all these people." Aesh points downwards, to all the people who stare at the pair. "Its nice to meet you, Terra." Aesh offers softly. His eyes glow red as he scans the surrounding area for a moment, his senssors notting Lorna's presense. He sertainly remembers her last encounter and offers her a friendly wave.

*

Marcos looks to Lorna somewhat confusedly, shrugging a moment when he looks back to Terra. "…any idea who that is?" he asks her curiously and quietly, before tilting his head when Aesh actually returns his wave, earning a small smile from Eclipse. Though he's silent for now, instead at the ready in case this all goes down really badly.

*

Lorna shook her head a negative to Marcos' question, her posture slowly straightening when it became clear that whoeveror whatever had come up from below ground wasn't planning to attack the city. She exhaled a breath, letting her hands fall back to her sides. She scowled faintly, and did not return the waves aimed in her direction either way. Instead she shifted her weight upon her toes and crossed her arms.

"I dunno. But so long as it's not the attack of the mutant moles from below I don't particularly care too much." She offered dryly, social butterfly, Lorna was not.

*

"Oh that was not an Earthquake! Just a little tremor, I'm sorry, ha dno choice…I had to emerge somehow!" Terra grins as she gives her explanation. "Nice to meet you Aesh, I thought you'd be a Champion, because you can fly!" Terra points out what she figures ought to be obvious. Terra absolutely beam when Aesh reveals he meant to help people in case of an earthquake, "that's admirable! Good on you, Aesh the Hero!" Terra then surfs her rock down low, till she's closer to Lorna, an doffers, "the molemen aren't bad! They're just upset when their living quarters are harmed by excessive mining, which is bad for Mother Earth! Did you know that?"

*

Aesh chuckles softly. "Well, I can only fly because of my cybernetics: They are what give me my special abilities.. As an example." Aesh thinks for a moment, raising a hand towards Terra. His hand starts to change shape, becoming a large shovel. "See?" He asks, before the shovel turns back into a hand, skin being regrown in a matter of seconds. To Marcos, Aesh would just nod at the man. "Her name is Terra.. She aparently isn't from here and seems to just want to be friendly." His atention turning back to Terra, Aesh would continue: "As for the tremor, you don't have to worry.. Nobody got injured and fortunately you arrived where you wanted to arrive at. As for these molemen.. I've never given much thought to how a mole feels.. Perhaps I should think about that for a moment."

*

Marcos can't help but chuckle at the young girls enthusiasm, especially when she calls Aesh 'Aesh the Hero', but he doesnt appear to have any problems with her. Though at Lorna's scowl and such, he gives her a light nudge. "At times, you are far too serious." he smiles, taking her hand in his. "It's a beautiful day, a good day to make new friends yes?" perfect for their night and day personalities when compared to each other. Though his eyes widen at Terra

"There's scuh a thing as mole people?"

*

Lorna didn't so much as crack a simple smile. Not even when Terra floated down to talk to them. She huffed an irritated breath, her lips twisting. "Trust me out of the general populace I'm one of the few people that knows quite well what shit mining standards do to the environment." Being able to sense a good deal of the Earth's crust would go that to a person.

Still, Marcos took her hand, and she grumbled at him. "I don't make friends so easily." It wasn't entirely true, she just had to be in a good mood for it. Today. Now. She decided she was not in fact in a good mood.

*

"A cybernetic?" Terra looks quizzically at Aesh, until he demonstrates, and then she just gives him a thumbs up, "I see! You're a metal-shifter! Awesome!" But as Aesh takes it upon himself to explain what she is, Terra brings her flying rock closer to Marcos and notes, "I'm only friendly to friends of good and honorable people! I protect the innocent, helpless and Mother Earth!" She blinks at Marcos' question, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "of course there are mole people!" When Lorna decides to leave, Terra asks Marcos, "is she okay? Did anyone hurt her? I can make it better!"

*

"I'm not exactly a metal shifter but.. Yes, thats close enough." Aesh comments, moving to land beside Marcos. "Is your friend allright? I've only met her once before today and she seems.." He takes a moment to think about the right word: "Reserved." He finishes. His atention returns to Terra. "If you help others, then you have sertainly come to the right place." Aesh says to Terra. "Is this your first time up here?"
