Fade In…

There's a squeel of tires as a large delivery truck careens out of control and smashes through a prius like it was made of tissue paper, sending the smaller car into a store front. The van comes to a stop only when it's engine block is resting comfortably in the passenger seat of a limo that was going the other direction. Tula bares her teeth as she leaps after her suspect, the jump carrying her from one rooftop apartment building to another with ease, causing her to pass clean over the head of her prey.

"Ooooh. I like you. You bounce." comes a light quip before a gloved hand flashes outward and Tula's head snaps to the side with a fling of blood, an open wound appearing on her forehead over her eye. She growls audibly and reaches out to rip a TV antenna from the roof she landed in, "Come here little man, I wish to see if you speak so well without lungs."

The man in the black and white costume laughs again as a playing card slowly flips through his fingers in a shocking display of dexterity, "But I tagged you," he points out, motioning to her forehead, "you're it." he laughs again and then turns to simply leap off of the edge of the building in graceful flipping arc. Tula roars and leaps after him, holding the antenna over her head like a sword.

Well. Shopping for clothes as a tall woman is a pain, and even Rain's online suppliers run out. But that's not why she would invite someone. She actually has her pants in a shopping bag, and her motorcycle is parked somewhere nearby. Captain is walking alongside her, his stylish coat attracting a few looks. Also, he's a cat. People love cats. There's something about animals that people bond with them, even on a simple level.

But neither of them are prepared for HOLYSHITATLANTEANWITHASTICK and then some dude doing flippy flippy arcs. She definitely is going to let Zee and Misfit know while the witch and cat dive for cover to prepare. The guy in the black and white costume is - apparently riling up the lady with the antenna. Okay, and she looks Atlantean. That's not good. Rain has to figure out what she's gonna do here.

***

Charlie is barely even awake off in Gotham in the clocktower. She is eating a bowl of sugarbombs in her pajamas while slaughtering her way through Destiny. She taps her game microphone to mute and then her non-trash-talking comm to active in time to get Rain's HOLYSITATLANTEANWITHASTICK Fighting a Supervillain in NYC message "Awesome!… but is the atlantean or the guy in white the villain.. I mean .. aren't atlanteans villains right now or something?" she rolls to her feet and heads to get changed and geared up waitin for an answer on Titan Teamspeak.

***

The moment this particular 'feud' started, SHIELD was on the alert. They're currently running a bit thin on agents that are capable of dealing with beyond-human ability individuals, so they send out someone who can hopefully help. Maybe. Fingers crossed.

With regular SHIELD agents and ground forces helping evacuate the area of civilians, May watches the altercation with a faint frown. "The male is the one to take down first. He's intentionally causing collateral damage." She then pulls a length of black silk from a pocket and heads for the epicenter of this mess. The faster these two are dealt with, the better.

***

Zee's in Shadowcrest when Rains message is received, no she certainly wasn't expecting a HOLYSITATLANTEANWITHASTICK message. With a murmured ~~ gnikroW sehtolC ~~ the young magicians is dressed, in an instant, in her stage costume and diamond encrusted collar. "On my way, Rain." Zee speaks into her headset, taking a moment to concentrate on the young Witch and then teleports.

Appearing behind Rain, Zees' eyes widen as she sees Rain dive for cover and she follows.

***

Tula's antenna sword explodes on contact with the fire escape, it's bits and ends flying every which way as it clangs off of the hand rail narrowly missing the man as he once more arcs upside down over Tula's dropping body. His hands a blur, he snags a twin bits of shrapnel from the air with one hand while using the other to grip a window sill. Twisting his momentum his booted feet implode the window below his hand hold and he vanishes inside the building itself, an excellent display of acrobatic skill.

Tula makes an incomprehensible noise as she continues to fall, having failed to expect his sudden change in direction, and she lands atop a Honda, or more accurately, she lands /inside/ a Honda, her weight and speed causing her to simply drive her like a pylon throught he roof of the car and out the bottom, folding it up around her. She begins to thrash, trying to tear herself free of the twisted remains with brute force. "Yoo hoo!" comes a voice from above, and a gloved hand wriggles it's fingers her direction, "You're still it. Maybe you would do better with a less experienced player?" and suddenly there's a small screaming child airbourne and hurteling straight down at Tula and her nest of twisted steel and fiber glass. "Catch!"

***

Oh geez. "I think the guy, most Atlanteans aren't evil." Really, humanity does treat the ocean pretty badly in general. Rain will transmit that through teamspeak. "Looks like he started it and - did he just chuck a kid? Oh shit." Rain's got terrible hand-eye coordination. There's some worry, too. If another Atlantean gets injured up here, it's gonna be ugly. Rain isn't sure about this. Actually, she hates teleporting. Rain's teleportation often ends up with nudity, being covered in chocolate or in drag (sometimes in England).

Rain isn't gonna make it in time. But what she can do is at least help untwist the steel and free Tula. Right now, Tula is tanking the bad guy and not Rain, the friendly neighborhood SHIELD peeps (who Rain is totally unaware of) or her nearby peeps. So if Rain can settle, simmer and concentrate, the car's steel will unweave, opening and letting the Atlantean lady out.

***

A City away Misfit adjusts her cowl and cinches on her utility belt, moving pretty quick to gear up because… Vengeance! "Wait what…. chucked a kid …. what does that mean?" she frowns and then bounces >pinkurple> and appears a split second later geared up by Rain and Zee "Hey Zee…" then she blinks behind her yellow goggles "Oh crap!"

***

"Yep, that's a kid… Hey Misfit. Give me a moment." Zee's teleport can be off sometimes, but normally it's pretty good. Focussing on the falling child, the raven haired woman speaks

~~ tropeleT ehT dlihC oT yM smrA ~~

Making sure she's clear, Zee holds out her arms like she's going to cradle a baby.

***

May sees the child flung off of the building and breaks into a full sprint, even though she's almost positive she won't make it there in time. Either way it'll put her closer to the lunatic who just threw the kid, and rescued or not, she will make the black and white attired man PAY for that.

***

The child never makes it to the ground and instead all six years of him is teleports straight into Zee's arm. Physics is a funny thing. A object falls at 32 feet per second per second, basic law of Earth graviation, which means by the time the child reaches Zatana, all 70+ lbs of him is traveling slightly over 43 miles per hour. Zee should really be more specific as conserns the wording of her spells, perhaps including some kind of inertial dampener. "Hey!" the masked man says leaning out the window, "No fair!" he seems to pout for a second, "You weren't invited to play!" next out the window is what one presumes is the child's mother, also screaming and heading face first towards Tula just as she's kicked the two parts of the car far enough apart to climb free, "Catch! Again!" Tula just blinks, uncertain of what's going on. Why do people keep throwing people at her?! Surface worlders are insane.

***

Phew. Thank goodness for Zee actually having teleportation magic that doesn't glitch out more frequently than Windows 8 (pre-patched). But then, this dude just doesn't quit. He's like the guy who posts political commentary on kitten videos. That's pretty evil.

The guy is defenestrating more people, and that's definitely not okay. "Yeah, this guy -" This guy. Rain is gonna have to get proactive. Her flying broomstick comes into hand and she's going to take off, trying to catch the falling woman in her own arms. This is not going to be fun or pleasant, but hopefully she can gain enough altitude and dampen the impact before it comes to it.

***

Misfit winces, then winces again. All of this is super bad "That.. is totes unacceptable. I mean .. who throws people out windows randomly and yells catch… its just ridiculous…." she disappears in a cloud of purple >pinkurple> heading up into the room in question to maybe try to kick the guy out the window now from behind, serve him right.

***

Yes, Zee should be more specific… she crashes to the ground, with a groan, barely managing to keep hold of the child. The young magician is not moving, laying on the ground, with a young 70+ lb child on top of her.

***

Melinda May practically skids to a stop when the child abruptly disappears, but then she sees the woman being tossed out, Rain trying to race upward on her broomstick to catch the woman, and a flash of purple >pinkpurple> in her peripheral vision. She's hoping the kids can continue keeping civilians safe even as she resumes racing toward said building, her path taking her straight toward Tula.

***

Tula blinks as a woman flying on a stick snags the /second/ surfacer that was headed for her like a missile from the air and swoops away with her. Blink. Pause. Blink. The front half of the Honda is kicked away viciously as she remembers her purpose here, the car tearing itself free enough for her to step out of the wreckage, her arms and legs bleeding from dozens of shallow cuts and wounds caused by thrashing her way out of sedan. "I will tear out your spine." she informs the man three floors up who merely grins back at her, "Promises promises. Did you know property damage is a felony, you owe that nice family a new car. You should get a lawyer." he turns around to head back inside when a foot solidly connects with his stomach, pushing him out the window with an 'OAF!'. Surprised or not, he's not one to be caught flat footed. He grabs at the fire escape he used before to alter his first fall in an attempt to halt this one, but manages only to slow himself down, and turns a headward three story plunge towards the earth into more of a two story feet first drop. He lands, rolling on his shoulder and coming up only a dozen feet or so away from Tula. "Did you see a little girl just kick me out a window?" he asks conversationally, "Because I swear I just saw a little girl kick me out a window." Tula throws the back seat at him, complete with trunk space.

***

Well, Rain likes most of the Atlanteans she's met (at least the ones who didn't stick their spears at her or whatever). She's going to set the woman down near her child and Zee. "Zee, are you okay?" Rain's not able to go on the offensive yet, and Captain jogs over, gently nudging Zee's face with a paw. They're going to see if she needs healing and help her up. They'd cheer Misfit on, but the two seem a little busy.

***

"Uhhhh not really, Rain." Zee looks up at Captain nudging her face and offers an extremely pained smile "That….." there really are no words… Struggling to sit up, the young woman groans "Ow, I can barely breath… and I think I broke an arm" at least one arm, probably a rib or two… "Help me sit, I should be able to cast from here… I'm going to need some assistance after."

***

Misfit leans out the window to look down at Tula and the Villain. "I am not a little girl!" she hops out onto the fire escape and eyes the Villain. "Listen you psycho.. it's time for some ass whupping with your name on it."

***

Melinda May sees the man abruptly removed from his 'stronghold' in that building and sends a mental thank you to Misfit. Good shot, kid. Stopping again a short distance from Tula, she looks the Atlantean woman up and down for a second, then pulls a knife from under the back of her jacket substantial enough to make even Crocodile Dundee nod in respect. "Catch," she calls out to Tula as she tosses the blade to the warrior woman hilt-first.

***

The backseat of the car hops and skips across the pavement as the man in the suit rolls under it, narrowly avoiding being hit, though the buckle from the seatbelt catches him in the face, splitting his lip open and causing him to grimace, "Okay," he says, reaching up to wipe the back of his hand across his mouth, smearing the blood, "Let's play catch." and then he moves with frightening speed. His arms pump as he begins taking step after step towards Tula, and the air is filled with playing cards. The Atlantean catches the sword in time to turn back and begin slicing at the air with the weapon, her expression first a frown, then a slow smile creeping across her lips. Being caught off guard pressed her, but out here in the open air she's far faster then any normal human being could be. She starts to make deflecting the cards look easy. Until one of them isn't a playing card and one of the bits of antenna shrapnel he caught earlier ricochets off of the sword blade and embeds itself in Tula's shoulder. The man grins at her and points to his forehead and the symbol on his cowl that's located there, "Bullseye." he says as Tula looks down at the bit of metal stuck in her arm.

***

Ah, crap. That's not good. Rain will help prop Zee up. "Are you sure? I can help now," Rain offers. Though, she's worried, watching the fight now. Not good. And somehow, the name Bullseye is worrying. The guy's behavior? Also more than a little worrying. Doesn't stuff like this usually happen in Gotham? "This guy is serious," Rain frowns. She's got to think. Somehow, he might not - hmm. Well, for now, her and Captain will help Zee up. Then, she looks thoughtful, serene and distant.

Rain is going on the offense, and if Bullseye doesn't do a lot of sprinting or something, his pants are going to burst into flame. She lacks the magical oomph to do much more so fast, but hey. Maybe it'll slow and/or annoy him so the others can do more.

***

Misfit blinks and edges her hand away from her utility belt. She totally rethinks throwing a standard batarang at this card and shrapnel throwing maniac. Then she perks and grins. She fishes out a coral batarang, and launches it right at this loons head from above. If he redirects the atlantean made weapon at anyone though, she is totes ready to whistle and cause it to return to her. Damn magic.

***

"Don't have time now…" Zee grits as she rests against a wall, frowning as she watches Bullseye. "He is very serious, Rain…" Taking a moment to really think about the situation and speaks

~~ raC lateM dniB dnA dloH eyeslluB roF ehT naetnaltA oT laeD htiW ~~

The wreck of the car, should contort and twist to wrap Bullseye in a metallic, vicelike grip.

***

Melinda May promptly moves off to one side while Bullseye's attention is on Tula. Partly because she's pretty sure the Atlantea woman can hold her own against this clown, and partly because attacking this man directly is foolhardy at best if she's remembering correctly. She's angling around and watching the others try inventive ways of dealing with the man as his trousers burst into flames and the wreckage of a car tries to chomp at him while Misfit throws something at his head from above. Once she's in position, she's going to to similar and attempt to use her sash whip as a long-distance garotte. Fingers crossed.

***

Bullseye is the undisputed master of the impossible weapons trick. There is no man or woman alive who can make literally anything they touch into a lethal weapon. Worse, he possesses a nearly superhuman precision. May's read his file, he's on the list of people no one in SHIELD solo's without superhuman abilities, you bring a crew. He's an assasin for hire, most commonly working for the mysterious 'Kingpin' of New York as his lead henchman. His intel value is incalculable. A gloved hand comes up to tap the batarang slightly, deflecting it with his hand in a manner that sends it right back from wence it came just as Rain feels something warm and sticky splash across her face and neck. The woman she saved gurgles incoheriently as she reaches up to find a playing card buried in her shoulder, the path to get there took it across her throat, severing all those bits one uses to pump ones blood. He just grins wider, his blue eyes flashing with glee at the sound.

Tula yanks the metal from her arm and charges the assassin, the sword held in a low experts grip as she covers the ground between them in short order, and swipe of the blade narrowly misses severing his head, instead cutting a shallow line across his cheek bone and tearing loose part of his mask, "Gah!" he says, his body twisting in an almost impossible manner to dodge the swing while mashing his hand directly into Tula's face and rolling at the hip. May's seen akido before, and this guy clearly knows his shit as instead of trying to fight the Atlantean, he uses her own mass and momentum against her, sending her careening into the pavement with a crunch. Tula begins to claw at her eyes and face, screaming in pain. Bullseye laughs and pushes himself to his feet, "So… any of you ladies single? I could us-" and then his pants are on fire and there is much hopping around and pulling and dancing.

The problem with masters of precision is that they're hard to pin down, they understand aiming, more importantly, how not to get hit. Try hitting Hawkeye with a bullet sometime, harder then one might think. Part and parcel of the whole deal. So when the costume pants are gone and Bullseye is left in the street with a flaming pile of clothing on the ground in his singed socks, one boot (he lost the other in the struggle), and sooty whitie-tighties, it's not wonder the chompy car trunk is having trouble latching on to him. "NO ONE IS PLAYING FAIR!" he informs Midtown New York at the top of his lungs before May's sash snags his neck and pulls him off balance just in time for the car trunk to swallow him whole with a clang and then click closed with a satisfying thunk.

"Hey!" comes a muffled shout a moment later, "I call shinanigans! Witchery! Mischief!"

***

Normally, Rain would sigh at the cry of witchery. But there's an injured woman and an Atlantean at hand. Also, someone who is not Rain in this universe knows that Hawkeye gets shot more than the damn dog from Duckhunt. Or maybe that's statistical bias. Probably the bias. Or a cruel joke of reincarnation and the wheel of life. Either that, or he wears magnetic boxers. But whatever, that is another story, another person, another place, another soul. For now, Rain has to help the woman whose throat is cut. Even with a cut throat, it still takes one a few moments to bleed out. One can hope, at least.

However, Captain does quip, "No shit, Sherlock." Sigh. Nevertheless, Rain is going to try to lay the woman down, rip off part of her shirt and start the magic. She's effectively out as an offensive force. Healing needs to be did. Rain does not at Zee, at least. No words, only magic.

***

Well Misfit is very impressed there as he manages to tink and flip her batarang right back at her like that. She eyes its flight then acks and whistles at it. The here boy sort of whistle and the thing stops flying at her blade first, twists in the air, animates, and flaps its way back to her now like a coral bat. Damn Shinanigans.

***

Zee breathes shallowly and watches Rain try to save the woman, her attention briefly captured as the carboot clicks shut. "Most definitely, shenanigans." Turning to the young witch, Zee offers "Let me help you, Rain… but I won't mix our magics…" Rains better at healing then Zatanna.

***

Melinda May approaches the trunk that ate Bullseye with wary steps and the sash whip ready at hand. If the lunatic tries to get out of the trunk she'll give her sash a sharp tug like a dog leash to remind him to stay the hell down. She IS capable of multitasking, though. "Hey," she calls over to Tula. "You okay there?"

***

Tula's answer to May is… not in English and from the tone that's likely a good thing. She takes a few moments to catch her breath before she pushes herself unsteadily to her feet. There's blood coming from her tightly closed eyes and she reaches out for the nearest anything to lean on, which causes her to stumble back and forth until she finds a lamp post to support her weight, "That <uninteligable Atlanteans words here> threw glass in my eyes!" her accent is thick and very odd, not sounding like any other accent anyone's heard. "Where is he? I have to ask him questions. Did he escape!?" from inside the trunk comes, "Well of course I did! I'm a professional! No one's here at all but us innocent civilians!"

***

"Up to you. I think - we can help the poor lady with glass in her eyes, too and you." Ugh, all rather grisly injuries. "The kiddo seems to be okay?" She isn't sure. Captain is gonna give the kid some nosin', as cats are wont to do. For now, she's going to make sure the woman whose throat was cut is mended first.

***

Charlie isn't a healer, she stays up on her fire escape tucking her batarang away now. She also is keping a watch on the trunk and escape from it, a snort sliding out of her at the snarky civilians line from the trunk. "He hasn't escaped" she notes down to Tula. Then she looks up at the sky "man day time…" she mutters and keeps her watch.

***

Standing and walking… that's an interesting concept. Zee, painfully and carefully, pushes herself upwards using the wall as support. She can't put any pressure on her arms, either of them. Finally gaining her feet, the young magician gingerly wraps an arm around her chest, she limps over to Tula. "I might be able to help your eyes, if you'll permit…" the words are delivered in a tight, pained, tone.

Looking up at the Chaos Muppet "Nice work, Misfit." the usual smile is missing.

***

Melinda May glares at the trunk and YANKS on the end of the sash she's still holding. "You WILL answer her questions, or I'll gouge out your eyes and cut through all the tendons in your wrists." She'll do it, too. And then write it up as 'accidental injuries' on her report. Just watch her.

***

May's sash slips out of the closed trunk cleanly as it's no longer attached to anything, and from inside she can hear his snort of amusement, "Sure you will, because /you're/ somehow scarier then the Punisher. Who I fuck with on a weekly basis." the crazy ones are always the hardest to scare… cause they're crazy.

Tula jerks away from Zatana's voice, "No! Do not touch me!" there is hatred in her voice at the thought, "I just need water." then she makes her way to the trunk. She feels it out, tracing the edges of the car, then nods her head, "I have three questions for you, answer them truthfully and I leave you here for whatever judgement you can worm from your authorities. Lie and I will kill you." she says all of this flatly and evenly, her eyes still closed tight. "Are you the assassin who killed my King?" there's a pause from inside the trunk, "Who? Me?" mock sincerety, "I wouldn't kill a fly! Maybe a random housewife, but not a fly! Flies are innoc-WHOA!WHOA!WHOA!" his quip is interupted as Tula simply hugs the trunk and the car begins to crunkle it's way inward. Some people use car crushers for this sort of work, others use Atlanteans.

***

Rain is tending to the injured woman. It'll take awhile, but at least the bleeding seems to be stopping. She says nothing as Bullseye does… as Bullseye is wont to do. Captain just sighs. "I'm rooting for the ocean lady," He admits. "Also, I guess if you're gonna conjure water, I'm -" He's staying near the kid. Where it's dry. Rain has to offer, too, "Good job," That is for a Misfit, too. She seems concerned about Z, but Rain only has so many brain cells to spare at once.

***

Recoiling, and then wincing in pain, at the Atlanteans tone, Zee stares at the woman. "Alright." That's all the young woman can think to say as she watches the human car compactor. She's going to have seek assistance, soon.

***

Melinda May only has a small liquor-flask amount of water with her, and it's holy water. However, she has one advantage the other women here don't. She taps at the comm unit in one ear to activate it. "May to Overwatch. Situation under control, send in med teams immediately. Multiple injuries." Hopefully they'll get here fast enough to help Rain with the child's mother and to help Zatanna. And they're sure to have water with them.

***

"No! No! I didn't shoot your stupid King! Alright?!" the voice is less muffled now and apparently there's just enough sense in the man for there to be proof he's not quite so crazy as he's made out to be, "I don't know who did, I didn't ask. Contract came my way, I was… it was suggested I not take it." he sounds very unhappy about this too, as if he's pissed about something, "I don't know where it came from or who got it, but you find 'em you tell 'em to come find me. No one's a better shot then me." now there's real anger, "No one." the last is almost a whisper and it's likely only Tula could hear it. She pauses, tilts her head to the side as if listening to something, "Truth." she says after a moment, "Or close enough." she stands and May's words draw her attention, her face setteling into a hardline. "He's not my assassin. Keep him if you want." and then she turns where she stands, slowly in a circle, her head lifted up as if she were seeking something, and then she stumbles to the side away from the trunk, "So uh… we're done here right? I can go now?" asks the voice in the trunk. Tula reaches the edge of the street and begins to grope around until her fingertips brush a fire hydrant.

***

Rain's healing really IS awesome, it's just not the fastest. It's the price paid for silent, no gesture needed magic. She can cast anywhere without overt glows, too. Stealth and no need to wave a wand around. No one takes you seriously with a 12 inch wand, unless you're cosplaying or in a dungeon. This is just a fact*.

Rain is quiet, listening as she works. Captain murmurs to Z, "We can tend to you, too." Likely, she doesn't wanna have broken bones for weeks or days on end, after all. "Thanks for helping us, from both of us," This to Tula. It pays to be polite when dealing with Atlanteans. Notably, Captain moves out of the splash zone. He knows what's coming. As for Bullseye going, no comments. Rain isn't with any legal agency (outside of her occult detectivery, but unless someone wants Bullseye turned into a newt, set on fire or cast into the Bieber Zone, well.).

*Except Dumbledore and/or Merlin.

Oh, and May is thanked, too. Just super-duper distracted. Yes.

***

Zee smiles at Captain "Thank you, but I don't want to tire Rain too much." looking over to the Witch who is focussed on the work at hand "That's far more important than my injuries… Shadowcrest will help me heal." . Captains politeness brings a sheepish look to the raven haired womans face "Yes, thank you. Miss…. ummmm " she doesn't know how to address Tula "Agent May." Limping painfully away from the area, Zee too has seen Tulas' actions "If we're done, I'm going to head home and get some assistance"

If there is nothing more to do here, Zee will teleport out. Here one minute, gone the next.

***

Melinda May is actually quite content to leave Bullseye in that trunk until the proper teams arrive to cart him off. Likely to someplace like the Cube. Or the Oubliette. Or whatever it's called. But, just to be safe… she pulls from her pocket one of those taser arrowheads she likes to swipe and throws it at the crunched vehicle with enough force to set the electrodes off. She'd move to help Tula, but she does NOT trust that Bullseye is going to sit here quietly, even if he's tased.

***

Tula grips the hydrant tightly in one hand and with an effort begins to pull the top off of it like a can. It's thicker metal then the car, and designed not to come apart. When it cracks open is sprays a powerful jet of water into the air which breaks on Tula's body, showering everything in forty feet with a wave, which in New York in February is … chilly, to say the least.

Meanwhile the smell of ozone comes from the trunk of the car just as May throws the arrowhead, causing the car to spark and sizzle for a moment. The arc of water from the hydrant kills the electrodes quickly and all is silent. Tula's eyes blink open a few times, her face held directly into the path of the water before she turns to face the other women, "I must go." she says flatly, "My mission is not complete." her eyes are a ruin, blood and tissue mixed into a pink miazma, the pain must be extreme. "I need… I…" and she topples to the pavement in a sitting possition under the water before her head simply slumps forward on her neck. Out cold.

When SHIELD arrives and opens the trunk to remove Bullseye, they find a neatly cut hole in the back of the trunk where the seat meets it, and no assassin at all. Beneath the car half however is a manhole cover, ever so slightly ajar.

***

"Okay, if you're sure," Captain offers. Rain will make sure the kid's mom is okay, before moving to Tula. She'll tend to the Atlantean woman, if she's not mending under the water. "I think you need to rest." And once she's sure the Atlantean is okay, she waves to May. "Be well." She moves to scoop up Captain and her stuff, before wandering off as witches are wont to do.

***

Melinda May stays to wait for the medics et al to arrive, and when it's revealed the Bullseye got away, she can only curse faintly to herself in Vietnamese before going to check on Tula. No way in HELL is she letting this really dangerous woman wake up in Medical. She'd destroy the Triskleion all over again. Thus, after giving her preliminary report and imposing on an agent for help with transporting the unconscious Atlantean, she finds herself in a safehouse as close to the water as possible watching the unconscious Tula — who has a just shy of dripping wet cloth draped over her eyes in the hopes that that helps the healing process — while sending out messages to Oracle and Jericho in the hopes that one of them will have advice on how to deal with an injured and likely very violent Tula once she wakes up.
