Former High School Baseball Star. Career and college prospects ended due to hospitalization after a domestic dispute. Former Cyberdata Operative and known mutant.

- Cassandra Taylor's father, Frank, was a CIA agent who left their family. She was protective early on of her only sister, Carin, and their mother went on to have numerous relationships that kept their household unstable.

- Eventually, Carin and Cassandra were given an abusive stepfather. Their household became a regular site of domestic abuse, until one evening, in defense of her family and a moment of extreme stress, she threw a comb with inhuman skill into her stepfather, killing him.

- Cassandra was separated from her sister and went on to high school life. She manifested her mutant abilities of agility and accuracy, and became the star pitcher of her high school's baseball team. Her joy as an athlete didn't last long, however, due to an abusive boyfriend who beat her so badly that she was permanently damaged in one eye, and her right arm was rendered all but useless.

- Later on, Cassandra was approached by a company named Cyberdata, who offered to pilot her for a limb replacement. She agreed, but to take advantage of her mutant ability, Cyberdata used a 'brain box' to remove her memories and install her as an agent for their cause. After being thoroughly trained, she was placed at the head of their S.H.O.C. division, which apprehended mutants for experimentation.

- On a mission to apprehend Carin, who is not only a mutant, but was an escapee from Cyberdata, Cassandra came into contact with Cyberforce. They fought back and forth many times to claim control over Carin (now known as Velocity), until Cassandra (now known as Ballistic) received damage to her skull sufficient enough to damage the brain box.

- Since recovering, Cassandra has been reluctant to be a part of Cyberforce, but has kept close tabs on her sister. She is free now, but often comes to join the mutant liberation cause, or the fight against Cyberforce, as a means of protecting her family.

Character Details

Crude and sarcastic. Cass avoids her many personal problems rather than facing them. She's an alpha female personality with a talent for wit and a strange love for seedy places.
